Leonard

   Saint.
   Little certain is known of the life of St Leonard. He was said to have been a nobleman in the time of clovis. He was converted to Christianity and became a hermit near Limoges, France. He is supposed to have helped deliver Clovis’s wife of a child when she went into labour when out hunting near his cell. There is nothing recorded of him before the eleventh century, but he became highly popular throughout Western Europe and is regarded as the patron saint of pregnant women and prisoners.
